REMARKS: Possible, unconfirmed oil was observed in satellite imagery. The possible oil appeared to emanate from an active producing well in Eloi Bay area, Louisiana. It measured approximately 1.42 nmi in length and up to 0.23 nmi in width. The slick appeared dark and stood out well against the background. Winds at the time of image were from the south at 5 knots. Confidence was determined to be high given the association with a suspected point source and visible chromatic characteristics.
