The possible oil was .5 nm long and .1 nm across, and showed strong contrast as a silver sheen against the surrounding environment. The possible oil appeared to emanate from Wreck 1487 repeat leak source approximately 90 nm S of Nantucket, MA (see recent related NRC 1347545 and 1347494). Winds were SW 15 kts which aligned with the orientation of the possible oil. UNCERTAINTIES: None.
