The anomaly appeared to be emanating from an oil platform and had a potential slick that was approximately 2.8 nm long and 0.06nm wide. The dark linear anomaly had well defined edges and high contrast against its surroundings. NRC# 1349074 also reported that a platform in the area had released oil into the nearby water. Winds at the time are unavailable. Confidence for this report is High.
