REMARKS: Possible, unconfirmed oil was observed in satellite imagery.  The slick was linear in shape, had some distinct difference from the surrounding environment, and appeared to emanate from the repeat leak source, Mon Forte Ship Shoal 291 platform. The slick was approximately 2.55nm in length, and approximately 0.07nm at the widest point. Winds near the time of the image were out of the W between 6-8kts. This report was likely associated with most recently NRC# 1352340.



UNCERTAINTIES: Image enhancements made it difficult to pull out the slick from the surrounding environment. The slick was entangled with false positives.
