REMARKS: Possible, unconfirmed oil was observed in satellite imagery. The possible oil measured 5.2 nm long and .9 nm across its widest point. The possible oil surrounded an oil facility in the South Timbalier area approximately 10 nm off the Louisiana coast that was likely the point source. The possible oil appeared out of place and was distinguishable from other natural phenomena with high contrast against the surrounding environment. Winds were N 9 kts.
