The anomaly was believed to be emanating from the known Destroyed Taylor Platform. It was approximately 2.64 nm in length and approx. 0.06 nm wide. The linear anomaly was dark in color with a small portion of possible thicker oil near the point source. Winds near the time of the image were coming from the S at 9 kts.
