REMARKS: Possible, unconfirmed oil was observed in satellite imagery. The anomaly was approximately 1.23 nm long and approx. 0.35 nm at its widest. The dark colored anomaly had high contrast against its surrounding. Winds near the time of the image were coming from the S at 5 kts. which aligned well with the orientation of the anomaly.



UNCERTAINTIES: It was a possibility that the anomaly was associated with the known Munger T. Ball shipwreck due to its proximity. The point source was approximately 0.13 nm NE from the known coordinates of the shipwreck.
