REMARKS: Possible, unconfirmed oil was observed in satellite imagery. The possible oil slick extended approximately 1.53 nmi to the east from the site of Wreck 1487, a known repeat oil leak source, and was up to 0.06 nmi in width. It appeared silvery/white in color and stood out well against the background. Winds at the time of image were from the west at 5-10 knots, aligning well with the orientation of the slick. Confidence was determined to be high given the association with a repeat leak source and visible chromatic characteristics.
