REMARKS: Possible, unconfirmed oil was observed in satellite imagery. The area of possible oil was observed approximately 45nm E of New Smyrna Beach, FL. The area was segmented and altogether measured approximately 11nm in length and 0.3nm at its widest point. The area appeared dark in contrast to the surrounding ocean and exhibited well defined edges. The characteristics of this possible oil slick were consistent with that of a bilge dump. There was a vessel located just SE of the area, but the possible oil did not connect so a point source could not confidently be determined. Winds were approximately SE at 10kts. 

UNCERTAINTIES: A point source could not be determined.
