REMARKS: Possible, unconfirmed oil was observed in satellite imagery.  The slick had a dark and strong contrast with the surrounding environment, had sharp well-defined edges, and widened with distance. All of these are indications of a possible bilge dump. Unfortunately, no point source could be identified. The slick was approximately 7.07nm in total length, and approximately 0.48nm at the widest point. Winds were out of the east at 9kts near the time of the image.The slick was approximately 151nm southeast of Townsends Inlet, Delaware and 165nm east of Fenwick Island, Delaware. 



UNCERTAINTIES: Partial cloud cover precluded the full anomaly extent from being identified.
