REMARKS: Possible, unconfirmed oil was observed in satellite imagery. A linear anomaly was observed 67.17 nautical miles Southwest of Houma, Louisiana. Spanning a length of 12.98 nautical miles and a rough width of 0.1 nautical miles, the potential slick had strong contrast with the surrounding water and had a metallic sheen (indicative of thicker oil). It was also in close proximity to several oil facilities. Winds at the time are unavailable. The Confidence for this report is High.
