REMARKS: 
Possible, unconfirmed oil was observed in satellite imagery.  An anomaly was seen 17 nm west of the Birdfoots delta and extended for a length of 2.8 nm and had a rough width of 0.5 nm. The anomaly had a light contrast against the ocean background and had a small portion with a sliver sheen indicative of thicker oil. Winds were from the south-southwest at 15 knots. The Confidence for this report is Medium-High.

UNCERTAINTIES:
At the time of this report there were no NRC reports in the vicinity of this anomaly.
