REMARKS: Possible, unconfirmed oil was observed in satellite imagery. A possible bilge dump was observed in satellite imagery by a vessel located approximately 22 nm W of the US International Waters Boundary and approximately 102.5 nm SW of Puerto Rico. The anomaly was emanating from a suspected point source that was segmented and widened appreciably with distance toward the end opposite of the suspected source. It measured approximately 26.2 nm in length and 0.5 nm in width at the widest point. Winds were out of the ENE at about 7 kts.

UNCERTAINTIES: While the anomaly displayed traditional signatures of a bilge dump that was segmented and widened with distance from the vessel, the composition of the slick cannot be determined from satellite imagery.
