REMARKS: Possible, unconfirmed oil was observed in satellite imagery. The possible oil appeared to emanate from the oil facilities. It was located in the South Timbalier area (Block #176) of Louisiana. The slick extended approximately 2.39 nmi to the WNW, and measured 0.13 nmi at its maximum width. It appeared dark and stood out well against the background. Winds at the time of image were from the SE at 10-15 knots, aligning well with the orientation of the slick. Confidence was determined to be Medium-High given that no specific point source could be identified, and no oil slicks were reported in the area.

UNCERTAINTIES:
A specific facility could not be determined as there were many in close proximity in this area.
