REMARKS: PLEASE BE AWARE THAT THIS REPORT IS BASED ON IMAGERY CAPTURED YESTERDAY. Possible oil was observed in satellite imagery. This anomaly is unconfirmed as oil. The possible oil located in the Viosca Knoll area (Block # 999) of Louisiana. The total length of the slick was measured at 2.03 nmi with a maximum width of 0.2 nmi. It appeared dark in color and had silver/white shimmer to parts of the slick. Winds at the time of image were 5 knots form the north, aligning well with the orientation of the slick. Confidence was determined to be Medium-High given that no point source could be identified, and no oil slicks were reported in the area.
