REMARKS: Possible oil was observed in satellite imagery. This anomaly is unconfirmed as oil. An oil slick seen in Breton Sound extended for 2.6 nm and was up to 0.2 nm wide. Winds were from the east at 5 knots.

UNCERTAINTIES: The anomaly tested negative for vegetation. A point source could not be definitively determined, which reduced confidence slightly. An oil facility was located 0.5 nm east of the easternmost extent of the slick.
