REMARKS: Possible oil was observed in satellite imagery. This anomaly is unconfirmed as oil. The possible oil was located approximately 41.54 nmi east of Fort Lauderdale, Florida, 8 nmi outside of the US EEZ. The anomaly had a rough length of 6.65 nmi, a rough width of 0.5 nmi, and was linear in shape with feathering towards its Northern edge. Its linear shape, solid edges and slight widening at one end suggests that this is a potential bilge dump.  Winds at the time were blowing in a Northeasterly direction at 6kts. The Confidence for this report is Medium-High.

UNCERTAINTIES: Several vessels were observed near the anomaly, but it is unclear if they are responsible. Due to the anomaly being located at the extreme edge of the satellite imagery, it is unclear if there is more off screen that does cross the US EEZ.
