REMARKS: Possible oil was observed in satellite imagery. This anomaly is unconfirmed as oil. The slick was linear in shape, had a dark well-defined appearance to the surrounding environment, and had sharp edges. Feathering was observed throughout the slick extents, and given the above factors along with the feathering this slick appeared to be a bilge dump. The slick was located approximately 22nm east of Hollywood, Florida. The slick was approximately 17.06nm in length, and approximately 0.31nm at the widest point. Winds near the time of the image were out of the south between 6-8 kts, which aligned well with the feathering of the slick. 



UNCERTAINTIES: There were numerous vessels within the vicinity of the eastern portion of the slick, so no point source could be attributed to this report. Portions of the slick fell outside of the U.S. EEZ boundaries.
