REMARKS: Possible oil was observed in satellite imagery. This anomaly is unconfirmed as oil.  The oil slick appeared to be emanating from the known Wreck 1487 shipwreck.  The anomaly extended to the southwest of Wreck 1487 and measured approximately 4.9 nmi in length and up to 0.1 nmi in width.  Thick oil was visible for approximately 1.1 nmi of this length.  Winds near the time of the image were coming from the north at 15 knots.

UNCERTAINTIES: None.  Because the oil slick appeared to be coming from a known leak source, we have high confidence in this report.
