REMARKS: Possible oil was observed in satellite imagery. This anomaly is unconfirmed as oil. The source of possible oil appeared to be a facility in Breton Sound, Louisiana. The anomaly measured 1.5 nm long trailing to the southwest from the facility, and was dark against the surrounding environment with a silver sheen suggestive of thicker oil. Winds were 12 kts out of the east.

UNCERTAINTIES: Vegetation or biogenic material could not be ruled out.
