REMARKS: Possible oil was observed in satellite imagery. This anomaly is unconfirmed as oil. The slick appeared to be emanating from the Wreck 1487 site, a known repeat leak source. The slick was shimmery in appearance, had a bright contrast against the ocean background, and exhibited possible thicker oil. It measured approximately 5.5 nm in length and 0.4 nm at the widest point. Winds near the time of the image were out of the NW at approximately 4 kts.

UNCERTAINTIES: Due to the presence of false positives in the vicinity, the precise extent of the anomaly could not be determined.
