REMARKS: Possible oil was observed in satellite imagery. This anomaly is unconfirmed as oil. The oil slick was observed at the site of Wreck 1487. The slick measured approximately 2.60nm in length and roughly 0.07nm in width. The area appeared bright in contrast to the ocean background. Winds were out of the SW at approximately 15kts at the time of the imagery. Since Wreck 1487 is a known repeat leak source, confidence in this report is High. 

UNCERTAINTIES: Due to some cloud cover in the area, the full extent of the oil slick may have been obscured.
