REMARKS: Possible oil was observed in satellite imagery. This anomaly is unconfirmed as oil. The anomaly was mostly likely a bilge dump signature, with the vessel located about 10nm south of the southern portion of the anomaly.  The anomaly had good contrasts with the surroundings and was consisted of three narrow portions ranging from 2.8nm to 3.5nm long. The northern portions were slightly wider than the southern portion which was closer to the vessel, which is a feature of a bilge dump signature. The wind at the time was 11kt from NE.


UNCERTAINTIES: Sometimes the anomalies could look like bilge dump, but could also be a result from fishing activity and oily water discharge from fishing vessel.
