REMARKS: Possible oil was observed in satellite imagery. This anomaly is unconfirmed as oil. The area of possible oil measured approximately 2nm x 1.3nm and was observed just off the LA coast in the Grand Isle area. The area had slight contrast with the surrounding scene and diffuse edges, although it did appear out of place. The area was likely associated with NRC #1390661, which kept the confidence level in this report High. Winds at the time of the imagery were 10-15kts out of the SE/ESE. 

UNCERTAINTIES: A point source could not be determined, though multiple oil facilities are located in the area.
