REMARKS: Possible oil was observed in satellite imagery. This anomaly is unconfirmed as oil. The slick was approximately 3.2 nm long and 0.77 nm wide as its widest distance.. The anomaly had a dark contrast against the ocean background. It was distinguishable from natural phenomena, and appeared out of place. Winds near the time of the image were coming out of the NW at 15 kts which aligned with the orientation of the anomaly. 

UNCERTAINTIES: The source of the anomaly is unknown as there were no oil platform facilities and vessels within the vicinity.
