REMARKS: Possible oil was observed in satellite imagery. This anomaly is unconfirmed as oil. The possible oil was located approximately 15.9 nm off the coast of Stewart Beach, FL. and appeared to emanate from the location of the W.D. Anderson shipwreck, a known repeat leak source. The linear slick had a strong contrast against its background, well defined edges, appeared out of place, and measured approximately 11 nm in length and 0.1 nm at the widest point. Winds near the time of the image were out of the NW at approximately 13 kts.

UNCERTAINTIES: While the W.D. Anderson wreck has not been suspected of involvement in recent MPSRs, it is a previously reported repeat leak source, and there are currently no other suspected sources in the vicinity.
