REMARKS: Possible oil was observed in satellite imagery. This anomaly is unconfirmed as oil. The possible oil appeared to emanate from the oil facilities located in the South Marsh Island (Block # 217) area of Louisiana. The slick measured approximately 6.72 nmi in length and 0.17 nmi at its maximum width. It appeared dark and stood out well against the background. Winds at the time of image were from the SW at 5-10 knots. Confidence was determined to be Medium-High given that no specific point source could be identified, and no oil slicks were reported in the area.

UNCERTAINTIES:
A specific facility could not be determined as there were many in close proximity in this area.
