REMARKS: Possible oil was observed in satellite imagery. This anomaly is unconfirmed as oil. The possible oil appeared to emanate northward from near the site of the W.D. Anderson shipwreck. The anomaly had a length of approximately 8.9 nmi and a width of up to 0.21 nmi, with slight widening with distance northward form the suspected source, and had sharp edges and a distinct appearance compared to anything else in the image. Winds near the time of the image were from the NE at around 7 kts. This location was the subject of recent MPSRs associated with NRC reports #1361666 and #1391512.

UNCERTAINTIES: Given the recent MPSRs at this location, there are no uncertainties.
