REMARKS: Possible oil was observed in satellite imagery. This anomaly is unconfirmed as oil. The oil slick was emanating from the known repeat leak source, Wreck 1487. The area was approximately 1.93nm in length and up to 0.15nm in width. The area appeared dark in satellite imagery and exhibited a small patch of brighter sheen, which is characteristic of relatively thicker oil. Due to the repeat leak history of this point source, the confidence level is High. Winds were out of the WNW at about 10kts at the time of the imagery.
