REMARKS: Possible oil was observed in satellite imagery. This anomaly is unconfirmed as oil. The anomaly was measured approx. 14.5 NMI long and 4.7 NMI wide as its widest width distance. The anomaly was dark and had a strong contrast against the ocean back ground and it appeared out of place. The winds near the time of the image were out of the SE at 10 knots. . The remnant anomaly was believed to be associated with NRC# 1396963.

UNCERTAINTIES: Although, the anomaly was not connected to a point source, there are no uncertainties since the remnant anomaly was associated with a previous NRC report
