REMARKS: Possible oil was observed in satellite imagery. This anomaly is unconfirmed as oil. The slick was approximately 3.85 nm long and approx. 0.15 nm wide. It had moderate contrast against its surroundings, was distinguishable from natural phenomena and it appeared out of place. Winds near the time of the image were coming from the SE at 7 kts. which aligned well with the orientation of the slick.



UNCERTAINTIES: The slick appeared to be connected to a particular oil facility but there was an oil pipeline in the vicinity that could've been a possible point source as well.
