REMARKS: Possible oil was observed in satellite imagery. This anomaly is unconfirmed as oil. This report is associated with NRC 1452098, which reported a release at a pipeline tie-in near the time of image capture. Possible oil was observed in the South Timbalier area of Louisiana, Block 31. The anomaly was roughly triangle-shaped, approximately 1 NM on each side. The anomaly stood out in high contrast against the background. Winds were approximately 5 kts from SW.



UNCERTAINTIES: The location of the point source was estimated at the junction of multiple pipelines.
