REMARKS: Possible oil was observed in satellite imagery. This anomaly is unconfirmed as oil. The anomaly was located approximately 2 NM NE of Trinity Island, Louisiana, and appeared to be emanating from the same oil facility referenced in NOAA/NESDIS NRC reports #1458813, #1457303, #1457143, and #1457143, and was most recently confirmed on 04/03 in NRC #1458905, which indicated that oil was originating from a facility. The anomaly appeared darker than the surrounding ocean and included a few silver, shimmery patches near the facility, indicating relatively thicker oil. It measured about 1.78 NM in length and 0.12 NM at its widest point. At the time of the image, winds were coming from the SE at approximately 15-17 kts. 

UNCERTAINTIES: Cloud cover over the center of the anomaly may have obscured its full extent and the potential presence of additional thicker oil.
