REMARKS: Possible oil was observed in satellite imagery. This anomaly is unconfirmed as oil. The anomaly appeared in the state of Louisiana lease area East Cameron. It was approximately 4.83 NM long and 1.02 NM at its widest. The anomaly is suspected to have originated from a known oil facility. The potential slick was not co-located with a natural oil seep. At the time of observation, winds were heading SE at 7 kt. The wind direction supported the suspected movement of the anomaly.
