REMARKS: Possible oil was observed in satellite imagery. This anomaly is unconfirmed as oil. It was seen emanating from a known oil facility that was visible in satellite imagery. It appeared approximately 80 NM SE of Garden Bay, Louisiana. The linear slick extended roughly 1.81 NM to the NNW and was around 0.19 NM at its widest. The majority of the slick looked white and shimmery, indicative of thicker oil. The anomaly stood out against surrounding water, was distinct from natural seep slicks in the area, and did not look like vegetation/natural phenomena nearby. Winds at the time of observation were from the SE at approximately 13 kts, which aligns with the orientation of the slick. 

UNCERTAINTIES: Partial cloud cover over the area may have obstructed the full extent of the possible oil.
