REMARKS: Possible oil was observed in satellite imagery. This anomaly is unconfirmed as oil. The anomaly was believed to be associated with NOAA Response Link Hotline #11180. It appeared dark against the ocean background, with a small silver, shimmery section closest to the source, indicating the presence of relatively thicker oil. It measured 2.83 NM in length and 0.06 NM in width. At the time of the image, winds were coming from the SE at 2 kts. 

UNCERTAINTIES: Cloud cover and cloud shadow to the east obscured the eastern end of the anomaly; therefore, its full extent may be underestimated.
