Details/Specifics of Change:
On April 7, 2005 around 1900 UTC, NOAA NESDIS made a change in the Polar
data ingestors to prepare for NOAA-N and to correct some minor problems with
HRPT ingests. The NOAA-N change should be transparent to the user
community. It will enable NOAA NESDIS to ingest the new data on the current
ingestors after the NOAA-N launch. The corrections will also eliminate the
truncation of some of the longer HRPT ingests. This change will increase
the maximum size of an HRPT Level 1B data set by approximately 20 percent.
