Instruments will remain off through today, 23 April 2007. Eumetsat is completing their evaluation and will provide additional information later today.

On April 20 at 1014 UT, the Metop spacecraft payload module shutdown all instruments. Eumetsat is investigating and expects all instruments to remain off throughout the weekend. A review will be done on Monday, April 23. Eumetsat expects to begin turning instruments back on by Monday afternoon (European time). A schedule will be provided. They expect to turn on AVHRR first and then AMSU-A.
