Details/Specifics of Change:
The January 2004 NOAA-16 AVHRR Visible Channels calibration coefficients
will be placed into NOAA operations tomorrow, Tuesday, January 13, 2004.
The first orbits to be processed are listed below.
NSS.GHRR.NL.D04013.S1610.E1741.B1706061.WI
NSS.HRPT.NL.D04013.S1741.E1755.B1706161.WI
NSS.LHRR.NL.D04013.S1725.E1736.B1706061.WI
The calibration coefficients for NOAA-16 AVHRR Channel 1 & 2 need to be
updated to:
Ch_1_lo = .05331*count - 2.055, count<498.96
Ch_1_hi = 0.1556*count - 52.88, count>498.96
Ch_2_lo = .05790*count - 2.187, count<500.16
Ch_2_hi = 0.1706*count - 58.55, count>500.16
These coefficients are expected to be optimal on January 27, in the middle
of the two adjacent updates (January 13 and February 9).
