Details/Specifics of Change:
In preparation for the NOAA-18 HIRS electronic turn on (June 5) and scanner turn on (June 10) the Information Processing Division is updating the HIRS level 1B processor software and initializing the NOAA-18 HIRS calibration control file. We expect this to be a no impact change for all current HIRS processing.
