Details/Specifics of Change:
When the update was done for NOAA-16 visible coefficient, erroneous values
for the channel 1 and 2 (slope low only) were implemented. This affected
all GAC (GHRR), LAC (LHRR), and HRPT data with times starting on day 160 at
1507 UTC through day 161 at 1139 UTC. The previous operational
coefficients have been placed back into operations. All data affected
will be reprocessed using the previous coefficients and updated in the
archive. Once the updated coefficients are checked out, the normal
"Tuesday Vis Cal" update will be performed today, Wednesday, June 9. A
notice will be issued. Please accept our apologies for any problems this
may have presented for your operations. Thank you for your patience and
cooperation. Please notify us if you continue to experience problems.
