Date/Time(UTC) of Initial Implementation:
08 March 2005 15:45 UTC (first time implemented)

Details/Specifics of Change:

The following update of the calibration coefficients were recommended
for:

NOAA-16 AVHRR

Ch_1_lo = 0.05373*count - 2.072, count<498.96
Ch_1_hi = 0.1568*count - 53.30, count>498.96

Ch_2_lo = 0.05765*count - 2.178, count<500.16
Ch_2_hi = 0.1699*count - 58.30, count>500.16

NOAA-17 AVHRR

Ch_1_lo = 0.05491*count - 2.197, count<501.12
Ch_1_hi = 0.1612*count - 55.46, count>501.12

Ch_2_lo = 0.06615*count - 2.597, count<500.73
Ch_2_hi = 0.1969*count - 68.17, count>500.73

Ch_3_lo = 0.03137*count - 1.323, count<501.37
Ch_3_hi = 0.2199*count - 96.02, count>501.37

on March 8. These coefficients are intended to be optimal on March 26,
in the middle of the two scheduled updates.

These updates were put into NOAA operations at approximately 15:45 UTC
The first orbits to be processed are listed in bold type below.
