Details/Specifics of Change:
To correct the majority of the across track errors seen in the AVHRR Metop-2/A data, NOAA implemented the following corrections today, March 27, 2007 at 1655 UTC beginning with this pass NSS.FRAC.M2.D07086.S1334.E1515.B0225758.SV.
- Adjusted the max scan angle from +/-55.37 to +/-55.24 degrees
- Applied a roll attitude type correction of -0.133 degrees to account for the remainder of the across track error.
These corrections apply only to AVHRR data.
