Update #1:
The NOAA-15 AMSU-B scan motor remains inoperable at this point. Engineers are still working on the problem.
Update #2:
Attempts to correct the AMSU-B anomaly have been unsuccessful. No improvement to this condition is expected and no further attempts will be made to correct the problem. The instrument should be considered to be in "red" status. No further messages concerning this issue will be sent unless there is a there is a change in the instrument.
