Date/Time(UTC) of Initial Implementation:
13 November 2007, Time 1449UTC
Details/Specifics of Change:
On November 13 at 1449 UTC, the November AVHRR visible calibration updates were implemented for NOAA-L/16, M/17, N/18, and MetOp-2/A. For NOAA-L/16, M/17, and N/18 the first orbits processed after the update will be:

NSS.GHRR.NL.D07317.S1257.E1430.B3681920.GC
NSS.HRPT.NL.D07317.S1432.E1445.B3682020.GC

NSS.LHRR.NN.D07317.S1711.E1723.B1279394.WI

For MetOp-2/A, the first orbit processed will the one running after orbit:
NCS.FRAC.M2.D07317.S1035.E1216.B0553738.SV

***** Original Message *****
The following are updates of the calibration coefficients of Metop-A/2, NOAA-18/17/16 for the month of November. The updates are recommended on November 13. These coefficients are intended to be optimal on November 27, in the middle of the two scheduled updates.

Please note that there is no change in the NOAA-17 channel 3 calibration coefficients in October and November 2007 . Also, due to the orbit drift of NOAA-16, there were no usable target observations (solar zenith angle < 60 degree) in October. The NOAA-16 calibration coefficients projected for November data are estimated with the degradation parameters derived last month.
