We have created a set of simulated NOAA-N 1b data sets for testing.They are
located in the instrument folders at this website:
ftp://metroweb.nesdis.noaa.gov/pub/noaa-n
(NOTE: the AVHRR folder contains both a GAC 1b data set and a HRPT 1b data
set ). The data sets are named following the standard 1b data set naming
conventions, except their high-level qualifier is "P1B" ( instead of "NSS")
and their satellite ID is "NN". All of these 1b data sets were simulated
from NOAA-16 data sets of the date, time, and orbit indicated in their name.
