Over the weekend the N16 AVHRR scan motor current increased sharply to its highest level since 6 Mar 06 (220 mAMps vs previous eqilibrium of 210) and remains at this elevated (albeit still nominal) level. Products has reported a wavy pattern in the imagery ( as was before when this increased occurred).This situation is currently being monitored and any changes will be reported in a follow-up message.
