Details/Specifics of Change:
The following is a correction to the previous message sent out regarding
the coefficients for the month of September. (note change in the orientation
of the Boolean character for the corrections of this message)
The following update of the calibration coefficients are recommended for:
NOAA-16 AVHRR
Ch_1_lo = 0.05348*count - 2.062, count<498.96
Ch_1_hi = 0.1561*count - 53.06, count>498.96
Ch_2_lo = 0.05775*count - 2.181, count<500.16
Ch_2_hi = 0.1702*count - 58.40, count>500.16
NOAA-17 AVHRR
Ch_1_lo = 0.05450*count - 2.181, count<501.12
Ch_1_hi = 0.1600*count - 55.05, count>501.12
Ch_2_lo = 0.06563*count - 2.577, count<500.73
Ch_2_hi = 0.1954*count - 67.64, count>500.73
Ch_3_lo = 0.03115*count - 1.313, count<501.37
Ch_3_hi = 0.2184*count - 95.33, count>501.37
on September 14. These coefficients are intended to be optimal on September
28, in the middle of the two scheduled updates.
