REMARKS: Possible oil was observed in satellite imagery. This anomaly is unconfirmed as oil. The anomaly was believed to be a bilge dump due to it being visibly connected to a possible ship. It was approximately 78.43 nmi long and 4.08 at its widest. The dark colored anomaly had well defined edges and a strong contrast against its surrounding environment. Although there are natural oil seeps in the area, it was still distinguishable because it widened with distance which is a distinct characteristic of a bilge dump. Winds near the time of the image were coming from the E between 5-10 kts.
