REMARKS: ***PLEASE NOTE THIS IMAGE IS OVER 24 HRS OLD***  Possible, unconfirmed oil was observed in satellite imagery. This report may be related to NRC#1336317. The possible oil appeared to emanate from an oil facility located in Breton Sound, Louisiana. Some of the possible oil showed a silver and rainbow sheen, which made it distinguishable from natural phenomena and indicated thicker oil moving towards the NE from the point source. This trajectory is consistent with reported winds from the SW at 10 kts near the time of the image.

UNCERTAINTIES: There were many false positives in this area and the extent of possible oil was estimated.
